Counselor Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Chairman of the Investment Authority, said that organizing the first forum for heads of African investment commissions comes in light of the President's directives to support cooperation relations between Egypt and African countries.

In his speech during the first forum of African heads of investment agencies, he added that the forum is of special importance in light of the restrictions imposed by Corona, adding that the African economy achieved a positive growth rate this year.
Egypt's hosting of the first forum of heads of investment agencies in Africa complements the efforts of the Egyptian state to achieve economic integration among the countries of the continent, and will represent a cornerstone in the plan to enhance technical and investment cooperation between African investment agencies, exchange experiences and visions to develop and encourage joint investments, and exchange data and information on the investment climate and incentives. Presented to investors, to achieve one of the most important items of the African Union's Agenda 2063, which is to increase the focus on intra-regional investment as a means of accelerating growth.
