PM Olmert Meets with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Attending the Africa Investment Forum 2019, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met today with Soma Chakrabarty, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, Chakrabarty praised the achievement of the new administrative capital in a short period of time. The Prime Minister noted that the Prime Minister of Rwanda told him yesterday that the size of the construction he saw in the administrative capital in three years, takes in other countries between 10 to 15 years.
The Prime Minister affirmed that Egypt over the past period has sought to mobilize the continental and international efforts to strengthen infrastructure projects in Africa, including the ambitious project to connect the electricity between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, and the promising opportunities it represents to promote development in Africa
